Scunthorpe's about 6 miles down the road. Two retail parks there if you need shops - Gallagher has your Next, Boots, TK Maxx. Scunthorpe Park has Matalan, The Range, Dunelm. Both have the usual coffee and fast food spots.
Right on site you've got the Lakeside Bar and Restaurant overlooking Clearwater Lake. Open daily - food served noon till 9pm. There's a large play park for the kids next to it.
Just a short drive away (5 mins) into Crowle Village there is a choice of takeaways which are all very good. A fabulous fish and chip shop which is highly recommended.
Also in the village we have two pubs The Red Lion and The White Heart. The Red Lion serves delicious home made meals again highly recommended.
We have a very stylish wine bar also in Crowle Village that serves Tapas (booking only for this).
A Co op supermarket is on hand also for every day essentials.
I must also mention that in Crowle Village there is a traditional butchers shop ( Parkin Butchers ) pure quality fresh everyday goods. Its absolutely worth a visit.
Lincolnshire Golf Course is about a mile away - pay and play, apparently one of the better courses round here. Ashby Decoy Golf Club's another option 6 miles out if you fancy something more challenging.
Otherwise - walking trails across the whole park, 11 fishing lakes (including a specimen carp lake), and enough woodland to keep you and the dog busy for hours.
You're here for the quiet, mostly. Green space, fresh air, and not much else getting in the way.

Andrea has created a lovely place for guests, home with all the comforts a family would need for a really pleasant stay. There is an air fryer as well as all the usual kitchen gadgets.
The hosts went above and beyond right from when booking was made. We had a late checkin and they meet us at reception and lead us to the caravan which was setup ready for us to settle in.

Caravan was very clean and comfortable- had everything I needed for my short business trip. The site was well looked after and looked as though there were some pretty walks. Poured with rain whilst I was there so didn't explore much outside the cosy caravan!
Owner very friendly and responsive.
Would happily stay again and can recommend to others.

Brief overnight stay in this beautiful setting. Mobile home all comfort, fully equipped and cozy decoration. Accommodation well heated upon our arrival. Great bedding to get you in shape and get back on the road.
